Delete your account.
Two ways, depending on whether you can still sign in. Both end at the same place.
If you can sign in
This is the fastest route, and it takes effect immediately.
- 1. Open sholo on the web, iPhone or iPad.
- 2. Tap your name or photo in the top right.
- 3. Choose Delete my account, and confirm.
There is no waiting period and no reactivation. Once it’s confirmed, your login is gone.
If you can’t sign in
If you’ve lost access to the account — you’ve left the company, the workspace was closed, or the address no longer reaches you — email [email protected] and ask us to delete it.
Send it from the email address on the account if you still can. If you can’t, tell us the address that was used and the name of the company you worked with, so we can find the right person and be sure it’s you.
We respond to deletion requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What deleting removes
- Your login.
- Your name and profile photo.
- Your membership of every workspace and every show.
- Your notification settings, and the token for each device you turned notifications on for.
What stays with the show
Work you did on a show — pins, to-do updates, equipment statuses, notes and photos — stays with that show. It belongs to the production rather than to you personally, and removing it would damage a client’s record of their own show.
Chat messages remain in the show’s log under the name they were sent with, in the same way a signature stays on a run sheet.
A show admin can clear a show’s data at any time. If something you added needs to come out of a specific show, that’s the person to ask.
Deleting your account is not closing the workspace
Your account is you. A workspace is the company, and it carries its own subscription, crew and shows — so deleting yourself doesn’t end it, and doesn’t stop the billing.
If you’re an owner and you want the workspace itself closed — the subscription ended and its shows removed — email [email protected] from the address on the account and say so plainly. Only an owner can make that request.
The rest of it
What sholo collects, where it’s held, how long it’s kept and what you can ask for is all in the privacy policy. If anything here and anything there disagree, tell us and we’ll fix it — [email protected].
